besides the fact that this has both gel and cream in the title (not the same thing), this has been keeping my face un-shiny for an entire work day which has been a heretofore unknown feat.

Q1 marriage report

bobby and i have been married for three months today, and it’s going quite swimmingly. not that i thought it wouldn’t - we’ve been playing house for a long time now - but it still gives me a little thrill (…and relief) that all i feel is a constant confirmation that i picked correctly.

to commemorate this momentous (not) occasion, here’s some of my faves from our february wedding (GPOY ahead!). if you’re really interested in a lot more pictures and the entire tale of our wedding weekend, i’ve started my recaps over on weddingbee.

will i ever feel this pretty again? yeah, probably not. :(

i loved our ceremony.

my one wish for the wedding day (well, not one, one of) was for snow. it started falling mid ceremony and held out just a little for some photos.

i danced with my little brother (another brother walked me down the aisle, and another did a reading). you can kinda see my something blue on my dress - i wore my dad’s wedding ring sewn onto a blue piece of felt.

my mom made all our flowers from old harry potter books.

our escort cards were little suitcases. i loved and hated those little things.

tiny little program booklets.

we did donuts instead of cake. hot, fresh, krispy kreme donuts. best decision ever.

man, this was hard to edit down. sorry for the photo dump. but our wedding totally rocked.
