i think i’m a little late on this, but oh well…
• when i was little, all i wanted to be was an archaeologist. robert ballard (titanic), howard carter (king tut), and henry jones jr. (ark of the covenant, holy grail, etc.) were my idols.
• my middle name is caroline, an homage to my birth state (north carolina). it was almost nicole.
• i used to be a competition cheerleader. we won nationals once.
• i used to write fan mail to nancy kerrigan. she sent me a signed photo that says “reach for the stars!” i think of this often.
• i will go out of my way to order or make food with the following ingredients: mushrooms, goat cheese, puff pastry, prosciutto, asparagus, pumpkin anything. bobby likes NONE of these.
• not a big pizza fan (unless it includes the above ingredients) but i love pizza flavored things (combos, pringles, goldfish).
• i am a planner. i make obsessive lists and plan every detail. this is both comforting and stress inducing. or really annoying or helpful, depending on your situation.
• my favorite movie of all time is field of dreams.
• i am generally a good speller, but i have a consistently hard time with “recommend” and “accommodate.” (firefox spell check had to fix both)
• i’m a beer girl. given a choice, that’s what i’ll always want. gin is second, but it’s not close.
