things have been kind of quiet around here...
…apologies!
the past few weeks or so have been spent doing school work and starting many, many wedding related spreadsheets. that may sound terrible to most of you, but i am kind of loving all the list making and cross checking and column sorting that this is taking. i may be biting my tongue in a few months…and i can’t wait until real decisions are made so i can start picturing...

adventures in commuting
for the past two weeks, i’ve been taking a combination of the bus and metro to work and back (arlington to tyson’s corner), rather than drive. bobby needed my car (we are a single car household) and offered to pay some of my car payment i’m an amazing girlfriend fiancee so i said it was fine.
i’m no stranger to the metro as i’ve lived here for years now, and i know...

so now i guess we plan a wedding.
these past few days have been really fun. we did the phone calls to all our friends, had some nice meals, and lots of champagne. yesterday i saw all my work friends, told all of you!, and tonight i’m driving to see my mom for the first time since E-day. i still can’t stop looking at the ring and my cheeks hurt from smiling.
but now i guess the planning begins. eek.

adventures in ipod shuffle
sometimes i play this game with myself where i will put my ipod on shuffle, and say “the next five songs that play will define me and my music taste.” so, no matter what comes on, that’s how people, forever, will judge my musical prowess.
for some reason, i get legitimately upset when it goes badly and plays something embarrassing, or if the range of songs doesn’t...

you guys, on saturday the phillips collection is celebrating their 90th birthday…and i am celebrating my 26th! as far as i can tell, 26 is going to feel like it might as well be 90, so i’ll probably be going to the museum. look at all the stuff happening!
i’ve been wanting to see the degas exhibit, so this is just a perfect way to spend my birthday…before the drinking...
